Welcome to Deep Creek!

We are determined to make your catered event a day you will remember, and will do our best to provide exactly what you want for your occasion.

Situated just off the Magothy River on Deep Creek, our restaurant can be visited by land or water, and both dining rooms have water views. Our lower-level dining room has a walk-out to an outdoor dining area and to the lower parking area.

Our kitchen is justly famous for the quality of our food. We use only the finest and freshest ingredients in our recipes and offer a variety of entrees in a wide array of styles. From our delicious traditional Maryland crab cakes to our spicy Jambalaya, you can count on us to provide the best quality and flavor around.
If you have a particular entree in mind that is not contained on these banquet menus, please let us know. Pricing may vary slightly, depending on the ingredients, but we will be happy to work with you to create the menu you want.

Deep Creek's private dining room can seat 50 people comfortably, but if your event incorporates a buffet or appetizer table, the maximum number of guests will vary. If your party will have more than 50 people, please talk to a manager for details on using our upstairs dining room.

If you are looking for a local florist, musicians, DJs or other special services for your event, please ask a manager for our list of associated vendors.

Deep Creek's Banquet Lunch

                            The Deep Creek
Fresh grilled salmon, charred medium rare, topped with herb bread crumbs on sourdough toast with basil-caper mayonnaise.  Served with fries.

Classic Club
Stacked smoked turkey, bacon, provolone, tomato, lettuce and seven grain toast for this triple decker sandwich.

Cheese Steak Sandwich
Topped with provolone and sauteed onions.  Served with fries.

Shrimp Salad Croissant
Whole, large shrimp tossed in our own Old Bay and mayonnaise dressing and served on a buttery croissant.  Served with fries.

Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap
Grilled chicken breast  and Caesar salad tossed with our Caesar dressing then wrapped in a flour tortilla.  Served with fries.

Chicken Monterey
Grilled chicken breast, topped with Monterey jack cheese and bacon, on a toasted kaiser roll.  Served with fries.

Cobb Salad
Fresh baby field greens, grilled chicken breast, cucumbers, avocado, carrots, tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, bacon and crumbled bleu cheese.

Spinach Salad
Flat leaf spinach with crumbled bleu cheese, mushrooms, bacon, and hard-boiled egg, finished with a warm bacon vinaigrette.

Blackened Chicken Caesar
Blackened chicken breast, crisp romaine lettuce and homemade croutons, tossed with Deep Creek=s own Caesar dressing.

14.99 per guest plus 5% tax and 18% gratuity
All sandwiches and salads are served with warm bread and butter, choice of Caesar salad or cup of soup du jour and unlimited soda, coffee and tea.  We recommend you select any three of the above entrees to offer as a choice to your guests.

Chicken Piccata
Pan-seared chicken breast finished with a lemon-white wine sauce with mushrooms, bacon and capers. Served over linguine.

Broccoli & Tomato Penne
Fresh broccoli, garlic & sun-dried tomatoes tossed with penne pasta in a light cream sauce.
 
Chicken PARMESAN
Hand breaded, fried chicken breast, topped with provolone and Parmesan cheeses.  Served over linguine with marinara sauce and a slice of garlic bread.

Shrimp Scampi
Sauteed shrimp finished in our garlic and wine scampi sauce. Served over linguine.

Fresh Pan-Seared Salmon
Fresh Atlantic salmon filet served over saffron rice, finished with a of fresh-diced tomatoes, scallions and herbs.

Crab Cake
A single Deep Creek jumbo lump crab cake served with a stuffed baked potato.

Beef Tips and Shrimp
Sauteed beef tips and shrimp tossed in a mild Cajun sauce with scallions and tomatoes. Served over saffron rice.

Stuffed Shrimp Imperial
Three large shrimp stuffed with delicious crab imperial, served with saffron rice.

Deep Creek Banquet Dinner Entrees

Salmon with Crab Ragout
Fresh salmon filet over saffron rice, finished with a light sauce of wine, fresh herbs, diced tomato and crab.

12 Ounce New York Strip
Fresh cut New York strip steak smothered with sauteed peppers and onions.  Served with baked potato.

Seafood Penne
Sauteed shrimp, scallops, lump crabmeat, tomato and scallions finished with a Romano cheese sauce.  Served with garlic toast.

Chicken Marsala
Sauteed chicken breast, in a reduced marsala wine and woodland mushroom sauce.  Served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

Fruits From the Sea
Fresh cod, shrimp and scallops broiled with fresh herbs, butter and wine.  Served with a baked potato.

Deep Creek Crab Cakes (additional $2.00 per guest)
Two all jumbo lump broiled crab cakes.  Served with baked potato.

Filet Milano
An eight ounce filet mignon, finished with a creamy woodland mushroom sauce.  Served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

Jambalaya
Sauteed shrimp, chicken, mussels, scallops, andouille sausage and peppers, finished with a traditional Louisiana Cajun sauce.  Served over saffron rice.

Chicken Calabrese
Parmesan encrusted chicken breast and Gulf shrimp over linguine, finished with a roasted garlic cream sauce.

Stuffed Shrimp Imperial
Large shrimp stuffed with our delicious crab imperial.  Served with baked potato.

Baked Salmon Strudel
Fresh filet of salmon, spinach, artichoke hearts and boursin cheese wrapped and baked in phyllo dough and finished with a fresh dill cream sauce.

Teriyaki Tuna
Tuna filet(prepared medium rare), finished in a teriyaki sauce and topped with wasabi and pickled ginger.  Served over jasmine rice. 

27.99 per guest, plus 6% tax and 18% gratuity 

All entrees are served with a starch, vegetable du jour, Caesar salad, unlimited soda and coffee, warm bread and butter. We recommend you select any three of the above entrees to offer as a choice to your guests.

Deep Creek's Banquet Services

A deposit of $200.00 is required at the time of reserving your date. A guaranteed minimum of guests are expected to attend.

Wedding Cake Service
Trained banquet staff will cut and serve cake, box any remainder and collect and pack up cake decorations and add-ons. $25

Linen Rental

If you would like to enhance the appearance of the room by using tablecloths or color-coordinated napkins, please let us know. We can provide a variety of colors, textures and styles to suit the occasion. Prices vary. Please see manager for more information.

Special Fees

You are more than welcome to decorate, but if extensive clean-up is required following your event (cleaning up metal confetti, streamers, trash, packaging), you will be charged a $35 fee.


Deep Creek's Banquet Beverage Service

Soft Beverages
Unlimited soda, tea and coffee are included in the price of each entree. Juices, milk and other non-alcoholic specialty drinks are not included.

Cash Bar
Alcoholic and specialty drinks are paid for on a cash basis by your invited guests.

Host Bar
All alcoholic and specialty beverages are paid for by the host. Pricing is by consumption.
